Originally founded in London in 1918, Mechetronics have been making solenoids for over 60 years. Having been owned by a number of companies including Warner Electric, the name Mechetronics was created in 1994.

Head quartered in a 27,000ft² facility in Co Durham, Mechetronics are the UK’s largest solenoid business employing almost 100 people. Being a privately owned business Mechetronics has the freedom to make fast decisions in your best interests.

The Project:
Mechetronics have been a Pod9 customer since 2002. Pod9 completed a full re-design of the web site to improve the visual design and navigation and also to add information which is relevant to different nationalities. The web design was also fully optimised for the search engines and appears on page one of Google.com for their primary search phrase "solenoids" resulting in a large number of targeted visitors to the web site and a significant increase in sales.

Recently Pod9 have also re-designed the Mechetronics logo, Stationery, signage and various other print based marketing materials.
